- Room and bed inquiry is available at the time of admission so that a suitable bed can be assigned.
- Have the ability to access all patient information by name, resident's number or chart number.
- The system automatically computes all necessary information among third parties and self-pay residents based on coverage information entered on admission or subsequently changed.
- Bills are either submitted electronically or printed by computer on forms acceptable to all third parties.
- Contractual allowances are computed automatically. All charges and allowances generate posts to accounts receivable and sales journal.
- Bills may be held in deferral for Medicaid-pending residents and released when Medicaid approval is retained.
- All Medicare co-insurance is properly re-billed or allowanced to Medicaid or self-pay
- Covered ancillary services are billed to Medicare Part B. Special negotiated rates for individual self-pay patients can be entered and used.
